Kilted Kangaroo

Scotland’s favourite Australian themed bar and grill house hosting pub quizzes, karaoke, comedy nights and live music on a regular basis. They have a large outdoor gazebo if you prefer to sit outside.

Located on Baker Street, Brea is a winner of more awards than we can list here including ‘Best Scottish Cuisine’ at the Food Awards Scotland 2018. They take pride in serving meals and drinks made with the best of Scottish produce and many would say it is the best restaurant in the whole of Stirling. We advise you book in advance.

Austrian restaurant using Scottish produce. Located at the top of the town this restaurant serves a menu that has earned a reputation as ‘Stirling’s Best’ (according to Scotland the Best – and they should know!) – For bookings call 01786 450632.

Molly Malones

Cronies

Of course, we mustn’t forget one of the festival’s main venues, The Golden Lion Hotel and their restaurant and bar, Cronies. They serve a delicious traditional menu in an elegant environment of the restaurant. This venue has been serving Stirling visitors since 1786. Try their afternoon tea.

Oscar’s Wine Bar

Stirling’s first and only wine and cocktail bar located in the beautiful Stirling Arcade. The bar guarantees a great atmosphere with live music on the weekends.

Curly Coo

Every whisky lover needs to pay a visit to Curly Coo. Stirling’s only whisky bar and one of Scotland’s best with a choice of over 200 single malts. Its owner Mandy knows just about anything about whisky and if you’re not a whisky fan, there are beers and ales on offer too.

Toast Cafe

Our top tip for a hearty breakfast. This Forthside cafe has a wonderful menu, good coffee – well worth the trip across the foot bridge.

Outstanding coffee, roasted by the unorthodox roasters themselves. The coffee shop is a hidden gem with a peaceful coffee garden and stylish upstairs study area. If you buy a bag of coffee beans to take home, you’ll receive a free cup of coffee. Wee Stoater is a favourite.
