Regenesis Clinic Opens in Stirling

A new medical aesthetics and wellbeing centre has opened its doors in Stirling’s historic Arcade.

Regenesis Clinic is a nurse prescriber centre run by Claire Clark and Louise Seaward who have a background in mental health and adult nursing. It offers a wide range of services, including weight management, facial contouring, skin rejuvenation and lip augmentation, in well-equipped treatment rooms and provides a holistic experience aimed at revitalising both body and mind.

Claire and Louise are long-term friends who met at university more than 15 years ago.

Claire is a registered mental health nurse and independent nurse prescriber who has dedicated her career to working with clients who have neurodevelopmental disorders.

She previously worked at Stirling Community Hospital and started up a clinic in aesthetic medicine – CC Aesthetics and Skin Clinic – in East Kilbride.

Louise, a registered general nurse and independent nurse prescriber, has focused her career on caring for the elderly and owns a residential home with her husband in Perth.

When she fell in love with aesthetics after receiving dermal filler herself and decided she wanted to work in the field, Claire knew she would be the perfect person to launch a new business with.

Claire says: “I live in Motherwell and when I started out with my sideline in medical aesthetics, I found a clinic in East Kilbride to start my own business and see if I could make a go of it which I did.

A few years ago, Louise moved to Perth and we had the chance to see a lot more of each other. She loved aesthetics too and wanted to work in the area so I thought it would be great to go into business together.

And with Stirling being half-way between where we each live, it seemed the ideal place to look for premises.

Earlier this year, the women secured a unit at 42 Stirling Arcade which had been empty for some time and was previously home to various businesses including a hair salon.

Claire says: “We fell in love with Stirling Arcade and although we were looking for a smaller unit, we loved the one at number 42 and decided to go for it.

The women completely refurbished the premises which now has a reception area, three treatment rooms and a consultation area where Claire consults with clients who require treatment for ADHD.”

They opened at the end of September and held an official launch party on Saturday November 11.

Services at Regenesis Clinic – whose name was chosen by Louise and relates to the process of renewal or rebirth – include Skin Rejuvenation which helps clients achieve a glowing, fresh complexion by using a variety of methods such as hyaluronic acid-based skin boosters, micro-needling, chemical peels and facials.

Clients can also undertake a Weight Management consultation to find a a treatment plan which will help them to lose weight and keep it off and there are a range of Wellbeing treatments offering a boost such as vitamin supplements and infusions as well as seasonal hay fever relief.

The state-of-the-art clinic also offers Lip Augmentation to create a natural, fuller lip; rejuvenating Facial Contouring with dermal filler and Wrinkle Relaxing Treatment using Botulinum toxin to support the reduction of fine lines and wrinkles.

Claire says: “Our tagline Is `Taking Care of You’ which is all about encouraging people to take time out for themselves and we really want our clients to have the chance to feel better about themselves.

They tell us what they want and what they don’t like about themselves and we can look at ways to change and tweak things naturally and just generally improve their wellbeing and help them feel their best.”

She adds: “Business has been good so far and we had a wonderful response to our launch party. We’ve had a lot of new clients coming in plus my previous clients were all happy to come for treatments in Stirling rather than East Kilbride.

And I love coming to work with my best friend – we get along really well and are both busy mums who understand and support each other so it’s working out really well.
