Sweet Fusion ice cream shop stirling

Stirling Welcomes Sweet Fusion

THIS SHOP HAS CLOSED

A new shop serving a range of fresh, delicious desserts has opened in Stirling’s Barnton Street.

Sweet Fusion, run by Joanna, has taken over premises which were previously home to the Sun Wah grocery store. The colourful eatery features every type of dessert you can imagine including ice cream, sorbets, cookie dough, crepes, sundaes, cakes and pancakes plus a range of drinks.

The whole range can be ordered online – via www.sweetfusionstirling.co.uk – for delivery or collection or you can pop into the shop and check out all the different flavours and options on offer.

Sweet Fusion, which opened on May 27, sells 34 different flavours of Italian ice cream including Nutella, Pistachio, Mango, Cookie Dough and Chocolate. There are authentic freshly made Belgian waffles, French Style crepes, hot cookie dough treats served with ice cream, donuts, a variety of flavoured pancakes, Little Moons, macaroons, carrot cake, crepes with 35 toppings and brownies. And on the extensive drinks’ menu, there are milkshakes, smoothies, Tango Ice Blast, frapes, soft drinks, homemade lemonade and hot beverages. And as a treat for youngsters, there are also Pick and Mix sweet boxes and Sweet Munchy Boxes to try.

Joanna says: “It’s been going well since we opened and people are getting to know about us and to come and see what we have to offer. We’ve got a huge menu with lots of different desserts so there really is something to suit everyone.

Our milkshakes are proving popular as we have so many different flavours and you can also create your own. We also offer vegan sorbets with six different flavours including lemon, orange, passion fruit and watermelon.

We deliver within a 3.5 miles radius so we are also making quite a few deliveries now.

A recent Facebook review describes Sweet Fusion as having the “best desserts in Stirling.” Another happy customer writes: “I don’t think I’ve had such amazing waffles in a long time and the ice cream is amazing. The staff are lovely and delivery was really fast. Would highly recommend!”

The eatery will also begin serving hot food – including burgers, chips, nachos, hot dogs and snacks – from the end of July.

Joanna also has plans to create a seating area with a few tables in the premises so people to sit and enjoy their food in the shop.

Sweet Fusion is based at 33 Barnton Street and is open seven days a week from 3pm until 10pm Monday to Friday and from 12 noon until 10pm on Saturday and Sunday.
