In our opinion, a good breakfast guarantees a productive day, and luckily Stirling has many cosy breakfast and brunch places to choose from, so you never get bored.
Our top 9 list of Stirling’s independent eateries where to go for breakfast and brunch includes a wealth of choice for vegetarians, vegans and anyone with other specific dietary requirements?
We love a good breakfast and rest assured that all of the Stirling breakfast places recommended in this post have been tried and tested many, many times.
So let’s dig in.
Fletcher’s
Fletcher’s restaurant is a perfect place to take your whole family or a loved one for breakfast or brunch. The restaurant offers enough seating which allows for an intimate atmosphere.
The family-owned business has recently introduced a completely new menu that includes anything that you can want for breakfast. What’s more, the dishes look absolutely beautiful.
Breakfast is served from 9.30 until 11:45 and brunch items are served until 4.30pm. Table bookings are required but the process could not be simpler.
See Fletcher’s menus here and book your table here.
We recommend Halloumi Stack or Spanish Eggs.
You can find Fletcher’s at 78 Upper Craigs, Stirling FK8 2DT, just opposite PureGym and next to Waitrose. They have free customer parking, just don’t forget to register your number plate.
HBW Coffee
Simply put, HBW Coffee is a foodie’s heaven. This fantastic coffee shop/bistro serves so much goodness that you will wish you’d found it sooner.
All of their dishes have vegan & non-vegan versions. Until recently, the coffee shop was serving plant-based food only but because of the cost-of-living crisis and the need to appeal to a wider range of customers, they decided to add eggs & bacon. We fully support their decision, the food was, is and will be bangin’.
HBW’s menu is different from anything else you will find in Stirling and includes deliciously fluffy pancakes, breakfast bowls, sourdough toasts, french toasts, brekkie rolls, fresh doughnuts and much more.
They relentlessly work on improving and refreshing their menu so keep an eye on HBW’s social media. At the moment they are open daily from 10am to 4pm but this can alter so once again, keep your eyes peeled on their Instagram to not miss any update.
You can pop in for a late weekend brunch or just grab one of their cakes and a coffee to go and our absolute favourite is greek style yogurt on a pancake stack with toasted sesame seeds, zest & rose petals. Yum!
Find HBW at 54/56 Barnton St, Stirling FK8 1NA which is very close to Sheriff Court.

Toast

The cafe is open daily from 9am (9:30 on Sunday) to 4pm.
Our breakfast suggestion is anything that includes smoked salmon and scrambled eggs.
