A creative company offering top quality bespoke kitchen design, manufacture and installation has opened in Stirling’s historic Arcade.
Creative Kitchens offers a ‘one-stop shop’ when it comes to creating the perfect kitchen and caters for all budgets.
The business is run by Russell Graham and his wife Julie and their showroom (Unit 40 at the King Street end of the Arcade) features a wide range of kitchen worktops, cabinets, appliances and accessories.
Russell initially worked as a chef before moving into a new career in sales for kitchen companies. He loved the job and decided to branch out on his own – opening a stall at the Forge Market in Glasgow and then his first shop in Clarkston, Glasgow five years ago.
He and Julie were delighted to open their second shop, which is run by Russell and employee Michelle Forsyth, and held a Grand Opening afternoon on Saturday October 2 to celebrate the new business.
Russell says: “We’re delighted with how everything has gone in Stirling so far and our Grand Opening was a highly successful day with lots of people popping in.
“We’d been thinking about opening a second shop for a while and were looking at various different areas when lockdown happened and the idea was put on hold for a time.
“Around Easter this year, we started looking again and as soon as we saw the Arcade in Stirling, we knew it was the perfect place for us – it’s a really nice structure and an excellent location – and we just thought `this will work for us’.
“We thought it would take a while for people to find out about us and started out initially hoping for one sale a month to begin with, but word of mouth spread quickly and within about three weeks we had sold five kitchens.
“It’s been fantastic and exceeded all my expectations and I think in part it’s because so many people are focussed on home improvements just now.”

Russell works in Stirling for three days a week and in his Glasgow shop for three days. He or Michelle are always available to show people around the Creative Kitchens showroom – which features a wide selection of worktops, cabinet doors and more – and listen to their plans and ideas for a new or remodelled kitchen.
He says: “We’re very much a one stop shop who can do everything for you when it comes to designing and installing a bespoke kitchen.
“We will come out and do the measurements, produce the design and because we are independent, we can source any brand of appliances and have a great selection of worktops.
“We also manufacture kitchen cabinets to any height, width and depth and have a full range of co-ordinated cabinets and doors to match even the most difficult space.”
Every Creative Kitchen is designed and built specifically for each individual client so no two are ever the same and the company prides itself on offering the very best in modern, traditional, bespoke and designer kitchens.
Their aim is to offer plenty of choice in terms of cabinets and doors, worktops, kitchen appliances and accessories and to collaborate closely with every client to create their dream kitchen.
As well as creating new kitchens, Creative Kitchens also offers a Kitchen Reface service to give kitchens a new lease of life by replacing doors, drawers and worktops rather than going for a full refit.
