Desire – a new fashion boutique for women and children – is a welcome new addition to the Thistles in Stirling.
The shop, based in the old Bonmarche store at the Primark side of the centre, opened at the end of September and is already proving popular with fashion lovers.
Desire sells a wide range of clothing and footwear ranging from hats, dresses, jackets, tracksuits and gilets to trainers, boots and cute baby shoes. Manager Avais Mughal says: “We opened on September 24 and we’re pleased with how well sales are going so far and the positive reviews we’ve been getting on our Facebook page. We’ve got lots of great sparkly and glitzy items in at the moment – from hats and gloves to tops and facemasks – and they are very popular with shoppers.”
“We cater for ladies, girls and young children and have a good range of affordable clothes and shoes for everyone. The owner of the boutique attends a lot of fashion shows so we always have plenty of up to date fashionable pieces available – but we make sure these are not too expensive for people.”
Desire caters for all shapes and sizes, going up to a size 26/28, and also sells items for babies and young children. Stock is updated on a regular basis and current bestsellers include a range of sparkly ankle boots. There is also a new collection of outerwear to check out featuring denim jackets with fluffy collars and stylish coats which are perfect for autumn and winter.
And if a particular size is not available in store, Avais and his friendly team can order it in for shoppers. Desire is based in the Thistles and is open Monday to Wednesday from 10am until 5pm; from Thursday to Saturday between 9.30pm and 5.30pm and from 11am until 5pm on Sundays.
